I still have no idea what the hell to do for a costume - tonight's theme is Sesame Street. WTF? I didn't even watch that as a kid - I suffer from Pupaphobia, fear of puppets. No, really. Clowns and dolls, too. Back in the early 80s, it was that talking bear thing. Teddy something. Still have nightmares about those... *shudder*
We talked about doing Bert and Ernie, but I'm not sure where to go with that. There wasn't even a girl on Sesame Street 30 years ago. Well, Miss Piggy, but there is no way that this former fat girl is going to dress up like a pig. Can't I keep up a muppet theme and go as Red Fraggle? I have the hair and all!
Any suggestions? I have tons of fabric, a plethora of wigs, and a sewing machine.
There are supposed to be scattered showers in the evening, which scares me a little, and the torrential downpour and lightning storm that hit us last year. We ended up pulling down the sails and motoring back to the docks. We were heeling way too much for me that night. I was terrified.
Last week was fantastic, though. Just me, Lou, and Dan. Sadly, Dan didn't bring Pancho, the best boat pooch in Seattle. Maybe tonight.
Any other Duck Dodgers out there in my reading public?
